COVID-19 (Coronavirus) INFORMATION AND RESOURCES

The health and safety of our customers, communities and employees is our top priority. Lukins Brothers Water Company (LBWC) provides an essential service that is vitally important.

To minimize the risk of exposure to the coronavirus, we have initiated our emergency response plan (ERP) to continue to provide services to our customers. As part of these ERP protocols, LBWC has closed its office to the public, and is requesting all non-emergency service calls be rescheduled until after April 5, 2020 (subject to change).

It is important for you to know that LBWC drinking water treatment includes disinfection. The World Health Organization has indicated that disinfection is effective in removing and/or inactivating viruses. Our water meets all current federal and state drinking water requirements.

In response to the rapidly evolving pandemic, LBWC is temporarily suspending service disconnections for non-payment to customers who are facing hardships as a direct result of coronavirus through at least May 1, 2020.  We encourage customers who have additional questions or are facing potential hardship as a result of the coronavirus crisis to contact our office at (530) 541-2606.  We have a variety of payment plans and deferment options to assist our customers.
